Easter Vigil 2009
It is with great joy
that we celebrate the baptism of our catechumens: Sue, Jessica, Rebecca,
Vi and Wilson.
At the Easter Vigil they were
born in the waters of baptism and fully initiated into the Church with
the reception of the sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist.
We also celebrate with great joy the full reception
into the Church of Jane and Larry. Although
already one with us in baptism, they received the sacraments of
Confirmation and Eucharist at the Easter Vigil.
Journeying with all of our catechumens and candidates
has helped us remember and give thanks for the power, beauty, and grace
of these sacraments. During the
Easter Season we continue to pray for them and for ourselves, aware that
the example of our parish community is a vital part of their formation
in the faith.
