Summer Giving Program
Be rich in doing
good.
Be generous and willing to share.
1Timothy 6:18

Summer Giving Project
July 26 through August 15th
For many of us summer is a time of rest
and relaxation; for others summer brings increased concern
and anxiety. Children
who are eligible for free or reduced cost meals at school
are now home for the summer. Families whose financial
resources are already stretched must now include extra meals
for breakfast and lunch for their school age children. Many
individuals are struggling with unemployment and also need
the help of the Food Pantry. Throughout the scriptures God
calls us to care for the poor among us.
We hope that you will consider giving any of the
items that
the
Marlboro Food Pantry
has requested:
-
Hamburger Helper or any kind of skillet mixes
-
Crackers of any kind
-
Jelly or Jam
-
Instant Mashed Potatoes
-
Cake mixes, muffin mixes
-
Jell-O
-
Solid White Tuna
Please leave your donations by August 15th on the
tables or in the picnic basket as you enter the church.
Grocery store gift cards,
in any amount, would also be welcomed as another source of
help. Please
place gift cards in the locked
“turkey" box
located on the church bulletin board in the church
vestibule.
